“Somewhere Between the Mist and the Stars” will be Jesse Reno’s first Portland solo show of the year. The show follows close behind his Los Angeles debut, a solo showing at BLK/MRKT Gallery that opened only two weeks ago.

For those of us familiar with Reno’s work we will see a deeper progression inward through an ever growing number of layers. This new body of work tells a story marked by totemic visions of man and beast seperating and returning as one. With over 20 new works created in just the past two months this show is surely an example of Reno’s current state of mind.

This showing will also feature the release of Truth Will Measure - a new full color book of Reno’s art with over 100 full color plates. Published by Anothersky Press, Truth Will Measure marks Jesse’s first personal publication of his works.
